Attitude Is Everything
Radio talkshow host Neal Boortz likes to point out that being poor is a behavioral disorder. A pattern of making poor choices is what keeps most poor people poor, not some vast conspiracy to keep them down. Adam Shepard is a young guy from North Carolina that set out to prove that with a little self discipline and making good choices a person could go from being homeless, having only $25 and the clothes on his back, it was not hard to not only get by but get ahead.
